|I believe I saw your personal doll collection on display at the Los Angeles County Museum sometime in late 50's or 60's. In it was displayed a doll of a Japanese fisherman with a straw hat holding a pole and 2 fish. If I remember correctly, is the Collection still on display somewhere?|
I’m not actually Shirley (she died in February and I doubt she used Tumblr!) but I know the collection you are talking about. I honestly have no idea who owns it now, it should be the museum you mentioned (I think this is where she donated them!) unless they have since sold them off. Maybe they are in the archives there.
Pic of the Day: “Now that I’m a colonel, can’t I play with the boys anymore?” “Why, of course you can.” “Well, you don’t! Do colonels have to go to bed at 7:00?” “Why, no, sometimes colonels stay up as late as 8:00.” “I wish you’d tell my mother that.” “I will.”

|Is anyone answering her questions, now that she has passed? I was in a Shirley Temple contest in 1960, but can in 2nd place after Tammy Marlihugh (sp) Is there any way I can find out what happened to Tammy. I was wanting to write this letter a few years back, it is so sad now that she is gone. BUT not in my heart. I will always remember her! A fan, JoAnn R. Survillas (back then)|
I am not aware of who is answering her questions now, I suppose nobody could really answer them if they were about personal experiences.
But I really do not think that the question you are asking is one that she would have had the answer to. There were many Shirley Temple contests, I doubt that she knew the details of the contestants! Sorry.
