The more I look at this, the less Shirley looks like shes in 1941, putting into consideration that The Blue Bird was just a year previous to this, I tend to doubt she grew so quickly. Though 1940’s fashion is sometimes misleading when it comes to guessing an age and I haven’t got another description of such an image.
